IIf you find yourself in required containment your customer will have an outlined Quality Procedure that you must follow to be allowed to exit containment. This is always your goal and at Continental, it is our goal to assist you in exiting containment as quickly as possible.

One of our strongest attributes is our ability to quickly and effectively execute a Root Cause Analysis to identify issues. We leverage this problem solving methodology aimed at identifying the root causes of problems or events. The practice of RCA is predicated on the belief that problems are best solved by attempting to correct or eliminate root causes, as opposed to merely addressing the immediately obvious symptoms.

By directing irreversible corrective measures at root causes, the likelihood of problem recurrence will be minimized. However, it is recognized that complete prevention of recurrence by a single intervention is not always possible.

All problems are solvable, and when Continental-Quality is on the case you can be assured solutions are close at hand.
If you find yourself in containment, don’t hesitate; simply complete our Contact Form and a qualified seasoned veteran will contact you on the best way to move forward.

Our History

Providing Quality Solutions to the Midwest for Over 33 Years.

Continental Design & Engineering, now known as Continental Inc. was established in 1985 in response to a need for qualified designers to assist General Motors, Guide Lamp (now Guide Corporation) with the new technology of the aerodynamic Halogen Headlamps, which replaced the old round, sealed beam headlamps.

We grew quickly to service manufacturers in all aspect of product development and production. Several years after Continental expanded into Quality Engineering Services with the establishment of Continental Quality Engineering (CQE).

CQE is built on a thirty-year history of manufacturing engineering capabilities. Continental's familiarity with the world of automotive component suppliers has enabled us to respond to the need for detecting, re-working, sorting and containing parts that do not conform to specifications. Currently, our engineering expertise allows us to assist our clients with root cause analysis and a wide variety of corrective actions, in a wide variety of industries – always adhering to best practices.

Continental Design & Engineering has access to engineers and technical specialists experienced in all aspects of product development, quality control, fixture, gauging, re-work, inspection, sorting, packing and shipping.
